Through a cooperation with eStruxture Data Centers, NetIX joins the Canadian market.
NetIX, the leading global distributed platform for award-winning connectivity and peering solutions, and eStruxture Data Centers, the largest Canadian provider of network and cloud-neutral data center solutions, have announced a partnership to provide global connectivity services and unique global peering solutions directly from their Canadian facilities to enhance the networks of eStruxure's customers.
Through the Tunnelling over Internet (ToI) service, eStruxure clients may now access all of NetIX's 150+ worldwide locations, 30+ Internet Exchange Points (IXPs), and award-winning Global Internet Exchange (GIX) peering solutions directly from any of eStruxure's data centers.
The ToI service from NetIX allows any network to connect to the NetIX platform via the public Internet and enjoy all of the same benefits and services as members who are physically linked via a cross connect. As a result of this, customers of eStruxture will no longer need to employ a physically connected provider for network services. Instead, they use a ToI connection to reach and access new cities and services.
